Rob and I are lucky to have engaged Tori Scott to sing the role of Allison on the demo of Under Construction (most notably, the song What Are You Doing Tonight?). We are also excited that Tori has asked to include But I Want To on her own demo; I personally can't wait to have an mp3!
I'll also eventually have a copy of Tarina Szemzo singing But I Want To. She's playing Sydney on the Under Construction demo - as I type, she's learning He Bought Me Shoes. I hope it doesn't sound conceited, but this is the kind of thing I live for - I'm just so honored to have my songs sung by such talented, amazing performers.
So if you catch me listening to my own songs on endless repeat, don't judge me to harshly. It's the vocalists I love to hear, I swear!
