Thank you to everyone that came. I really appreciated your support, your time, and your thoughts and words of encouragement. Thank you especially to those who traveled long distances -- the Karpens, from Connecticut, Romie from Boston, Julie, Sean, and Chris from New Jersey, my sister Thekla from D.C., and her boyfriend Duncan, from a boat off the coast of Italy. Thank you to my family, to the actors, to CAP21, to Mike, and to Bret, my husband, who patiently carried around my flowers, told me where I was, and let me know when I had dropped something.
I need to pay that guy a manager's salary.
After the show, a lady came up to me and told me that the show had inspired her to try to let go of things that she herself regretted, and that it showed her that she should "make it happen" in her own life. I don't think I would have been happier if she'd said that she would fund a full run.
Well, maybe. But only a little.
Thank for coming. :)
