Rewriting

Ugh.

It's very very easy to say "i need to rewrite." What's hard is actually doing it.

I can admit to myself that writing in this blog is just me avoiding the real work. So i'll keep it short.

I'm fixing Edwards - instead of being a depressing Christian, now he's going to be lighter, funnier, and of a multi-religious bent -- the kind of guy who hangs prayer wheels and has a Buddha and a picture of the Virgin and a shelf full of Deepak Chopra and Wayne Dyer. (Thank you, Chaplain Heidel from Punahou School.)

Also, i'm taking out a lot of what i put in to "clarify' the parent-child relationships, which just ended up 'melo-dramatizing' them instead.

Alright, gotta go do that.
