New Drink!: Sanguina de Titor by Darby at TTI

Let's make a Sanguina de Titor.

Stoli vodka
Blood Orange Juice
Green glass swizzle stick
Ice

Titor's best friends, allies and favorite trading partners were the Russians. His email address was Sanguina (at) AOL.com. His favorite fruit was oranges. The Russians nuked the planet and killed 3 billion people.

Sanguinas are blood oranges. It also loosely means "bloody" in Spanish. So we'll use the juice of a blood orange. Because the Russians were his allies we'll use Stolichnaya vodka. Serve on-the-rocks. Add green, preferably glass, swizzle stick. No garnish.

Just mix a Stoli screwdriver using the blood orange juice.

The blood orange juice represents the blood of the 3 billion dead.

The Stoli celebrates Titor's friends and allies, the Russians, who killed the 3 billion.

On-the-rocks represents nuking the world back into the stone age.

The green glass swizzle stick represents the #1 commodity that Titor's Brave New USA would trade with their Russian trading partners - green nuclear glass.

No garnish because the world is a rather barren place after Titor's War.
